  Chapter 1

WHEN MATTHEW Mason reported to his job at the Romita Federal Correctional Complex, he knew it would be for the last time. As he sat in the car in the parking lot, he took deep breaths before pulling out his cell phone.

He brought up an app on his phone disguised with an icon to make it look like Facebook. When he entered a special code, the phone turned black with a spinning wheel for a moment, then the Monolith appeared on the screen.

He had never seen anything more of the Monolith than a domed gray helmet with two glowing slits for eyes. He didn't know much about the Monolith but Mason knew what he needed to know; that the Monolith could bring order to Eros City.

"Report," the Monolith said in a deep and booming voice.

Mason nodded at the Monolith. "I'm ready."

The Monolith's glowing eyes narrowed. "Very well. Do you understand the importance of your mission?"

Mason nodded. "Yes, the Night Watchman must return. This is the way to draw him out."

"And do you understand your role?"

  "Yes. I'll probably die."

  "Good. Proceed."

The Monolith vanished from the screen, and Mason hung up his phone.

He got out of his car and walked up to the entrance of the maximum security wing of Romita, as the Supervillain Jail because of the number of superpowered criminals held there. It briefly housed villains like the Iron Cross, Father Fear, and Aphrodisia.

Aphrodisia was his goal for the day.

Mason walked through a metal detector at the front entrance, and handed over his phone, keys, and other items that could be considered contraband. Thankfully, they didn't notice the bulge in his left shoe.

Mason used his keycard to pass through numerous gates and secured doors, making his way to the super-maximum security unit where he worked. After getting his fingerprints scanned, he passed cells of other supervillains before he finally reached the cell of Aphrodisia.

Unlike other villains, Aphrodisia was held in a medical ward, isolated from the other prisoners and even other guards except for four who were specially trained and medicated. Mason was one of them and had skipped his dose of anaphrodisiac for the day, knowing it wouldn't help.

He nodded to the man and woman standing by the final door to the control room, and they scanned him one last time before letting him pass.

As he walked into the control room for Aphrodisia, Mason looked through the glass at the woman inside. Unlike most prison cells, hers had no toilet or sink or table, nothing more than a bed with monitors surrounding it. She was so dangerous that she had to be kept heavily sedated at all times. There were civil rights advocates arguing that it was inhumane to keep her sedated during her entire life sentence, but no one had come up with another way of controlling her.

Not for the first time, he was struck by her beauty. Her fiery red hair pooled around her head, surrounding a face with full lips and high cheeks. Her large breasts pushed up the white blanket draped over her.

Thick metal walls separated the cell from the rest of the prison with only a glass window and a steel airlock between them. To unlock the door, a special code needed to be entered that none of the guards knew, only the doctor who maintained her medically induced coma. The idea was that even if she woke up, she wouldn't be able to escape the cell. If she did manage to escape the control room, the guards had orders to immediately shoot to kill.

Mason's partner Livingston sat behind a bank of controls, glancing up at different screens showing Aphrodisia's temperature, heart rate, and other vital signs.

Mason stepped up close behind him. "How's she look?"

Livingston murmured, "So far, no change."

"That makes sense. The numbers haven't changed in, what, two years?"

Livingston nodded. "Yeah, but I was here the last time she woke up. You don't want to take any chances."

"You've always been vigilant, buddy." Mason reached down to pull a plastic knife out of his left shoe. "Sorry about this."

Livingston turned his head to frown at him. "What--"

Mason stabbed him in the back of the head with the knife, right at the base of the spine. With a twist, he severed the spinal cord and the medulla oblongata. Livingston died instantly and (more important) quietly.

As Livingston fell out of his chair, Mason went to the controls. He flicked switches in the sequence the Monolith had given him, and watched the graphs change. The heart rate began to increase, the temperature began to rise, and the IV drip stopped.

As the system shut down, an alarm went off with lights flashing and horns blowing over his head, and Mason leaned back to take a deep breath. It was done. No one could stop her now.

The door to the control room slid open, and the two guards outside came running in.

The male guard started to speak. "Hey, what do you think--"

The female guard spotted Livingston lying dead at Mason's feet and brought up her gun to him. "Freeze, motherfucker! Drop the knife and get on your knees, now!"

"You're too late." Mason smiled. "She's already awake."

  "What the--"

Through the glass, they all heard a soft moan, and saw Aphrodisia's eyes flutter open.

"Oh, shit." The female guard grabbed the walkie-talkie at her shoulder and yelled into it, "Security breach in A-15! Repeat, security breach--"

The effect seemed to hit them all at once.

It started as a warm, tingling sensation in Mason's skin, sinking from his head down to his crotch. He began to breathe deeper as he felt his cock harden, and all thoughts melted away except those of sex. In that moment, he couldn't take his eyes off the female guard as if she had become irresistible. Her breasts stood out to him on her uniform, heaving from her deep breathing.

He knew the other guards felt the same as they began to gasp and clutch at their uniforms.
<
br />   "Oh, no, no," the female guard moaned.

"Oh, yes," a husky but feminine voice whispered.

Aphrodisia sat up on the bed in her cell. When she opened her eyes, they glowed red like sparkling rubies. The blanket fell away, leaving her naked body exposed. Mason couldn't help staring at her breasts, tipped with thick and pink nipples that stood out in the bright light. Her legs slid forward, and as her thighs opened, her pussy came into view with red pubic hair. Mason truly thought she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen.

She took a deep breath and let it out with a sigh. "Finally. I thought I would never wake up again."

The female guard's trembling hand went back to her gun. "G-got to--"

Aphrodisia held out her hand. "Ah, ah, ah. Naughty, naughty."

The female guard's hand dropped to her side as she stared at Aphrodisia. Her other hand seemed to reach for her shirt buttons on its own, undid them, and reached inside to stroke her breasts.

"There's a good girl." Aphrodisia slid herself forward and her delicate feet touched the floor. "You need to relax. You look like you haven't been laid in a long time. Let's fix that. Fuck him."

The female guard looked at the male guard next to her. Their eyes locked for a moment before they rushed into each other's arms. They kissed so hard that Mason could hear their lips smacking from the other side of the room, and their hands tore at each other's uniforms, ripping them at the seams. When the male guard's pants had come free, his hard cock sprang out. He yanked down her pants, threw her up against the wall, and thrust into her. The two of them grunted as they pounded against each other.

Aphrodisia's eyes glowed brighter as she moaned. "Oh, yes. That's it."

Mason didn't even realize he had unzipped his pants until he found himself stroking his own cock with a frenzy. On some level, he thought he should stop, but he couldn't.

He could only watch as Aphrodisia climbed off the bed and walked across her cell to the door.

Mason reached out with a free hand to enter a stolen code into a keypad. The code made her cell door slide open.

Aphrodisia smiled at him as she walked through it. "Oh, wonderful. Do I have you to thank for letting me go?"

Mason grit his teeth as he continued to jerk himself off, and hissed, "Yes."

"Not that I'm not grateful," she purred, "but you must know who I am and why they put me here. Why would you do that?"

  He groaned, "The Monolith...says hello."

Aphrodisia giggled and reached out to touch his shoulder. Her fingertips burned like fire against his sensitive skin. "Oh, that sweetheart. And what does he want in return?"

Her presence made him stroke himself even faster. "To-conquer-Eros-City."

"Oh, is that all? I was planning to do that, anyway." She leaned in close, and he could feel the heat of her skin against his, and the smell of flowers rising from her body. "Thank you, lover."

She kissed his cheek, and Mason came hard, shooting his cum across the room. It landed on the back of the female guard who now hunched over the control console while the male guard rammed into her from behind.

Mason's legs trembled as he reached for the watch on his wrist and pressed a button.

A distant explosion could be heard, followed by more sirens. He knew that was his cell phone, and it would have blown open the front gate. That gave her a straight shot out of the building.

Aphrodisia's smile made him harden again. "What's your name, sweetheart?"

He began to rub his aching shaft again. "Mason."

"I'm going to give you a gift, Mason. Instead of making you fuck yourself to death like the others, I'm just going to kill you now."

As she picked up one of the guns and brought it to his head, Mason whispered, "Thank you."

  She pulled the trigger.

  Chapter 2

RYAN WALKER had met a lot of supervillains since he became the superhero Paragon, but none of them freaked him out like Goo Girl.

In her humanoid form, Goo Girl looked like a tall and slender woman made entirely of a green jelly-like substance. In other words, a girl made out of goo. Seeing the glistening, slightly transparent villain running around and robbing banks was hard enough to deal with, but when she attacked, it got much worse.

The minute Paragon charged through the doors of the bank, he looked over the people cowering on the floor, and saw her at the bank vault. The door was open and he didn't wonder how. From past robberies, he knew she could squeeze into the vault's mechanism and open it from the inside.

Goo Girl looked up from the bags of cash she filled. He had to admit she looked beautiful with rounded boobs and flowing hair, and a face with almond eyes, round cheeks, and plump lips like Charlize Theron. Of course, that's the form she took, so he had no idea if that's what she had originally looked like.

"Ah, shit," Goo Girl said. "That was faster than last time."

Paragon grinned. "I was in the neighborhood. Drop it."

Goo Girl didn't answer. She just stretched an arm all the way across the bank to punch him in the face. It didn't catch him by surprise like it had the first time, so he'd braced himself. That didn't prepare him for the wet smack of her gelatinous fist against his skin, which he always hated, and it distracted him enough to give her time.

She used those precious seconds to curl her body into a ball and roll towards him while her arms stuck out and continued to hold the bags of cash. While still reeling from the punch, he didn't have himself take to take the impact.

She smacked into him like a wrecking ball made of Jell-O, knocking him back and sending him flying through the plate glass window of the bank. He crashed onto the sidewalk in a shower of glass, and she rolled right over him, squashing him like a steamroller.

At the same time, she formed a face on the side of the ball, and gave him a kiss on the lips while she passed over him.

"See ya later, dumbass," she called out.

As always, she left him feeling wet and slimy on the bare skin where she had slammed into him, and his costume had slippery green smears on it.

  "I hate that," he groaned.

As he sat up, he knew his backup was on its way, and it didn't take long before they appeared.

Heavenly Hawk came flying down from the rooftops with her blonde hair flowing, and her white wings beating the air. She hovered for a moment while her wings whipped up a tornado that rushed at Goo Girl.

The supervillain had gone back to human form, but twisted around in the tornado into the shape of a corkscrew, while her feet never left the ground. She had made herself stickier, apparently.

At the same time, Alley Cat came charging out from behind a car. The catgirl wore a skimpy black leather outfit, and roared like a lion as she lunged with her clawed hands out.

Goo Girl quickly formed a hole in her torso that Alley Cat jumped through, while yelling, "Ole'!"

Alley Cat landed on her hands, spun, and launched herself at Goo Girl again. "Stop fucking around and fight me, bitch!"

Goo Girl twisted her body to dodge her, while yelling, "You asked for it!"

One of her arms formed a hammer that she swung at Alley Cat. The catgirl yelped while the hammer knocked her across the street, and crashed her into the side of a Coors delivery truck.

While they had been fighting, Paragon got to work. He wanted to beat the crap out of Goo Girl, but knew his fists could just go right through her or she could make a hole and he never got near her. Instead, he needed to contain her.

He ran over to a grocery store and jumped up to grab the awning. After ripping the canvas down from its wire frame, he dragged it over to where Goo Girl and Alley Cat were fighting in the street. With a grunt, Paragon threw the canvas over Goo Girl.

Goo Girl squealed as the canvas fell on top of her.

Heavenly Hawk, Alley Cat, and Paragon all jumped onto the edges of the canvas to pin them down to the street. Cars honked and skidded to a halt as the three heroes kept the awning over the villain.

  Alley Cat b
roke into a smile that showed her fangs. "Holy shit, we got her!"

The awning burst open as what looked like a green sword punched up through it. The sword's blade cut through the thick tarp, and Goo Girl busted out with the sword replacing her left arm.

  "That's it," she screamed.

"Fuck!" Alley Cat yelled. "I didn't know she could do that!"

"I can do a lot more." Goo Girl opened her mouth, and it grew until it stretched down to her thighs and wider than her entire body.

She lunged forward and ate Alley Cat.

  "Cat, no!" Hawk screamed.

Goo Girl straightened while forming a huge ball of green slime with Alley Cat floating in the middle of her. Alley Cat's arms and legs thrashed, but she couldn't seem to swim or climb out of it.

Goo Girl formed into a ball again, and bounced off down the street, swinging the sacks of cash alongside her. When she landed on the roof of a car, it collapsed under her weight.

"She's got Cat!" Hawk yelled. "She'll bloody suffocate!"

"Not if we can help it." Paragon threw himself forward and activated his Flight power to launch into the air.

As he flew, he called out, "Stats!"

In his mind, he heard the voice of his ATLAS implant, the artificially intelligent source of his power that he had nicknamed Dahlia. "Affirmative. Loading stats."

Text hovered in the air in front of him:

  PARAGON

  Level 9 - Strength Class

  STR: 45

  SPD: 17

  DEF: 45

  INT: 1

  HEALTH: 440/900

  PWR: 86

  XP: 480,000/512,000

He focused on his power level. Over the last few months, Paragon had discovered using his abilities drained from his Power stat. When the power reached zero, he became helpless. He'd learned that the hard way when his Flight power cut off and he fell six hundred feet to crash through the roof of a McDonald's. Fortunately, his Damage Resistance power kept him from dying, but it was a close call.
